FV has communicated the importance of appropriate photo guidelines as a part of the registration process - for both players and non-players.

There has been a noticeable increase of sensitive documents being uploaded (e.g. Passport, Driver License) by participants as their ID photo. These photos are then visible on the participants ID Card in DRIBL, and more widely where applicable competitions have a publicly viewable match centre.

PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD PHOTOS OF SENSITIVE DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION.

Below are the photo guidelines set out by FA during the participant registration flow:
A passport style image
Head faces the camera directly with your face in full view
- No hats or sunglasses to be worn
- Taken within the last 12 months
- Clear, legible and with appropriate lighting
- Under 5MB in size
- Either a PNG or JPG file type

Where a sensitive document has been uploaded, Club Administrators will delay the approving of the registration until a more appropriate ID photo has been provided.
